I wanted to change my kitchen cabinets. They were oak that had been painted white.
The white paint had chipped and I really wanted to get new cabinets.
I went to several home stores looking and pricing new cabinets. I could not believe
the prices!!! I did not want to purchase a poor quality cabinet, but I really wanted
to update my kitchen.
Looking through the telephone book, I noticed a number for Timeless Finishes. Mark and
Kathleen visited with me and I decided they were THE ONES to paint & glaze my
cabinets. Actually, my dogs chose them. They just love Mark and Kathleen.

My kitchen looks magnificent!! The glazed cabinets are so beautiful. Besides the
beautiful work done by Mark and Kathleen, they are also charming people. They kept
their word in every aspect of their work.

Mark and Kathleen also refinished an old Communion Table for me. It is a beautiful
piece, also.
Do not hesitate to use Mark and Kathleen. You will be 100% satisfied.

We have a wonderful working relationship with Mark and Kathleen Reynolds
at Timeless Finishes. They have done several lovely pieces for us
personally and for our clients.

Mark's feel for wood is exceptional and his finishes are very fine. The
decorative paint and artwork Kathleen does is exquisite. The first pieces
they did for us were a set of chairs that were my grandfathers. They are
Michigan Craftsman, hand-carved back, side chairs that are close to 75
years old and needed to be refurbished as well as refinished. Mark did a
fabulous job restoring them and Kathleen's custom painting of the carved
fruit is lovely.

I can't say enough about how much of a pleasure it is to work with such
excellent craftsmen. We look forward to each new project!

I cannot adequately express how glad I am that it was Mark and Kathleen at Timeless Finishes
who accepted the task of repairing and making beautiful again my most prized earthly
possession – the Sloss bed, which my great-grandmother, Mary Minge Sloss, bequeathed to me
when I was 7 years old (I was the only one who asked her for it).

The bed had been used and then given to her and her husband by her father-in-law, Col. James
Withers Sloss. He was a leading industrialist who had an interesting career, but is best known
in Birmingham for the furnace he organized in 1881 – Sloss Furnace.

This “piece of furniture” was treated with the love and care that I wanted for something that
holds so much memory and family history for me. I knew that I had found the right people
when I first met Mark and Kathleen when they first came to look at my bed, which at that point
was in pieces – headboard, footboard, and side rails were all propped against walls, with my
mattress sitting like an island in the midst of all of it. Some of the iron pieces that had been
used originally to hold the bed together had been lost, some of the wooden appliqués had
fallen off, and there had been attempts to “secure” the pieces together over the years that had
left carious brackets and all kinds of stuff.

But anyone could still see that the bed was beautiful, and just needed the right hands to bring
all its beauty back, as well as make it hold securely together again. They took their time, and
brought it back to its original glory. I couldn’t be more pleased, and would recommend Mark
and Kathleen at Timeless Finishes to anyone who wants their furniture treated with love and
care.

I gave them a piece of furniture to be refinished and they gave me back a family heirloom.

they are beautiful!

It makes our kitchen look new, and at a fraction of the cost of
buying new cabinets. They are very professional and completed
the job in the time frame they originally promised.

They are currently repainting the glider for our patio. We
definitely plan on using them again and again.

repair and refinish my great-grandmother' s china cabinet.
